18/11/2022 - DBN Ondernemersontbijt
Yesterday we celebrated “Dag van de ondernemer” together with MKB-Nederland. We had two events in Jakarta and Bali with almost 50 people in both events. Both with great atmosphere, a lot of enthusiasm and a good mix with familiar faces and also new faces. Thank you Matthijs Wiggers Ivo van Dijk Steven Debrabandere Wouter van der Kolk for hosting the events.
08/11/2022 - Air Asia Business Breakfast Talk
Last Tuesday we had our last Business Breakfast Talk of the year where we had the honor of Veranita Yosephine, CEO Airasia Indonesia, speaking about Retaking The Skies during and after the CoVid19 pandemic & her life-passion Gender Balance.
We certainly may say we ended our breakfast talks on a high this year with the energy and passion Vera brings into the room. Vera is a fantastic role model and showing Indonesia what women can realise in traditionally jobs meant “for-men-only”. And even more importantly showing girls that no dream is large enough to aspire for!

28/10/2022 - Atradius Oranje Golf Tournament
On Friday October 28 the Dutch Business Network organized, in a combined effort with De Nederlandse Club (DNC), the traditional Atradius Oranje Golf Tournament. At one of the most prestige golf courses in the city, The Pondok Indah Golf Club, 60 attendees enjoyed a beautiful day of golf with lunch, dinner, and Dutch snacks along the course.
During the 18 holes Texas Scramble game both seasoned golfers and beginners could contribute to the team effort to win the honorable Willem Alexander Trophy for best gross score. Other great prices were won for the longest drive and nearest to the pin.
The excitement rose during dinner when the great door prizes were raffled after which people stuck around for an evening of networking and catching up with old friends!

29/09/2022 - DBN Member's Night Out
On Thursday evening September 29th 2022, DBN organized a great network gathering at KOI Epicentrum. With over 50 members attending it was a very pleasant evening at this great restaurant in the heart of Jakarta. We would like to thank Multi Bintang Indonesia and KOI for their support for this gathering!
Also thanks to our members (old and new) for attending this event, hopefully it will be remembered as a great night!
13/09/2022 - DBN Breakfast Meeting AirFrance KLM
Roland Coppens and Estee Ng offered us a well-detailed presentation regarding the reduction of carbon emissions, waste reduction, energy usage together with competitiveness now and in the years to come.
It was good to see an audience of more the 45 members and invited guests, showing great interest in this topic and asking many questions in order to get a clear view on what an airline and the aviation sector can do to improve Sustainability In the Air, On the Ground and In the World.
We especially like to thank; Estee Ng and Roland Coppens of AirFrance KLM for flying into Jakarta to offer this insightful presentation, as well as the Dutch Embassy Indonesia and the Erasmushuis for hosting this event in a remarkable way.

01/09/2022 - KNVB Event
On Thursday September 1st, DBN co-organized an event with the KNVB (Royal Netherlands Football Association) and the Dutch Embassy Indonesia at the Erasmushuis in Jakarta. Last year the KNVB started to execute its international strategy with Indonesia as one of their focus countries.
Throughout Indonesia there is a huge amount of Indonesia Oranje Fans who have supported the Dutch Flagship team over the years. The KNVB wants to show appreciation by giving back to these Indonesian Oranje Fans. This all started with launching an Instagram page in Bahasa with unique content and leads up to organizing fan events throughout the country during the 2022 Qatar World Cup.
DBN helped the KNVB by connecting them with Dutch professionals working for large (Dutch) multinationals in Indonesia as the KNVB is looking for sustainable partners that can support the KNVB’s activities to give back to the Indonesian Oranje fans and to build a strong, positive, and a long term relationship with Indonesia.
02/06/2022 - DBN Herring Party at Lamudi Rooftop
Thursday 2 June, we organized the traditional Herring party. We were very happy to receive more than 115 Member & Non Members who enjoyed the delicious fresh Dutch herring which were flew in from The Netherlands.
19/04/2022 - DBN Business Breakfast - Indonesia' Pathway to Zero Emission
Last Tuesday-morning, 19th of April, DBN organized an interactive live event focusing on Indonesia’s Pathway to Zero Emission. Dutch and Indonesian experts discussed the challenges, business opportunities and the pivotal role of the private sector in achieving net-zero targets.

29/03/2022 - DBN Business Breakfast - Business Effects of the War in Ukraine
On Tuesday morning 29th of March, DBN organized a panel discussion on the impact of the Ukraine war on the already surging inflation and supply chain challenges.
Four cross-industry panel members shared their experiences and actions on how to react to this unseen perfect storm. It was great to see how different industries from FMCG, over Animal Feed to Tire manufacturing in Indonesia have similar but also different challenges and answers to these global problems.
We ended the panel discussion with a Q&A session from the 30 participants in the Erasmushuis to get further insights on the current problems.
Of course we want to thank the panel, interviewer and also the participants for the interactive session and the Dutch embassy for hosting us!
24/03/2022 - DBN Members' Night Out
On Thursday evening March 24, we organized our first normal DBN Members’ Night Out gathering again since 2 years. With a group of around 45 members, we had a great night networking, socializing and meeting new people. Many thanks to Max&Julie for hosting this event at their home, with delicious drinks and snacks, including a sushi-guy.
We are very happy that we could organize such an event again and meet all our members in real life again. Thanks to all participants for the joyful night.
10/03/2022 - DBN New Members' Breakfast
On March 10, DBN organized its second in person New Members’ Breakfast at KOI Mega Kuningan. This event is the substitute of our Virtual New Members Coffee which we started to organize for new members during the pandemic.
Since our last New Members’ Breakfast we welcomed around 15 new members of which a small group joined the breakfast. During this breakfast, both our new members and the DBN Board had the opportunity to introduce themselves.
08/02/2022 - DBN Business Breakfast - G20 Explained
On February 8, we kicked off 2022 with a panel discussion on the G20! During this online session, Dutch and Indonesian experts gave insights to the business community on Indonesia’s G20 Presidency, which officially started on 1 December 2021 and includes the G20 summit in Bali in November 2022. It was a highly interactive session with many interesting questions from the 40 participants.
