About the Award

For the third year in a row, the Global Innovation Award (GIA) is organized by the UAE Ministry of Climate Change and Environment and GloballyGreat, a video platform for sustainable innovations. The GIA aims to celebrate outstanding innovations from around the world that have the potential to contribute to the UAE's sustainability vision. This is a great opportunity for innovative companies to enter or grow in the Middle East market. The overall Global Innovation Award will be handed out by the Ministry and 2 Category Awards will be handed out by the Award sponsors: “Responsible Consumption and Production (SDG 12)” by Bee'ah and “Life Below Water (SDG 14)” by DP World.

What the winners will get

• Exposure to a large global audience during the award ceremony at Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week
• Support from UAE government organizations and award partners to start or grow your business in the Middle East market
• A dedicated company channel on GloballyGreat
• 6 months access to Dtec Dubai co-working space

How to apply

Companies need to upload a video of their innovation for sustainability on GloballyGreat and fill in an application form online, by December 24th 2020. 

This is a fully online competition with a virtual final ceremony, so there are no costs involved for the applicants!
