More about event
The ADB-DutchCham Sustainability committee invites you to join it’s discussion about Sustainable Banking in ASEAN.
ASEAN ranks among the regions at greatest risk from climate change. This threatens the region’s food security, water supply and socio-economic stability and is exacerbated by its continued reliance on fossil fuels and rampant urbanisation.
According to WWF’s Sustainable Banking Assessment (SUSBA), banks in ASEAN are not responding fast enough to threats posed by climate change. During this event WWF will answer why it believes banks are not responding enough. But before we dive into the results of WWF’s latest report, they will quickly explain the purpose and objectives, scope and methodology of the SUSBA tool.
